The Beadles of London
Our Friends in the City
Part stage-manager, part Ringmaster, the Beadle is at the centre of all major events within Livery Company life in the City.
His role is to co-ordinate the various and varied contributors to Company functions, to act as Toastmaster and ensure that the ceremonial is carried out to the smallest detail as prescribed by years of tradition.
Around him, caterers, hall managers, toastmasters, florists, musicians, photographers, guards of honour all come together to produce a seamless and dignified event.
The Beadles of London do appreciate the contributions of the many organisations and individuals who go to make up a grand evening. The following is just a small selection of our friends but we do want to hear from anyone who would like to be linked to this site:

The company was established in 2004 by founding managing director Mark Grove. Working alongside him is talented French signature chef Jean Deillon, who takes great pride in sourcing fresh foods daily from London’s markets and tailoring quotations to precise customer briefs, creating menus to suit budgets and ensuring an innovative and stylish culinary occasion.

Erika Gundesen
Pianist and Music Director
Erika Gundesen is a graduate of the University of British Columbia and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. She currently works as a freelance pianist and MD in London, performing as a soloist as well as a collaborator or music director in recitals, events, opera and theatre productions.
Edward Dye
Edward is a pianist and composer living and working in London.
The music he usually plays is Gershwin, Cole-Porter and popular songs from the 20s and 30s through to the 60s. His repertoire also includes light classical music, the Great American song book and Brazilian hit songs.
